Let me see where do we start? Oh yea. DEAD MONKEY PROMOTIONS started in Liverpool in 1998 in a small cafecumbikeshop called "The Hub". Aiming to promote any original band with a positive and determined attitude, the gigs were always a success and still are with ample advertising playing a big part.

2003 saw The Kif being opened by James Zukanican and Tom Vamos which opened up a whole new window of opportunity for new bands. <a href="http://www.livingbrain.co.uk" target="_blank">The Kif</a> was and still is (more than EVER!) the central connection between so many Liverpool bands, with full rehearsal and recording facilities at their disposal (not to throw away, but USE!).

2004 was when Dead Monkey moved to Ireland in order to get a taste for the good life of cows, sheep, and,erm...music!YES! So at present we're based in Galway and arranging shows as often as possible. And as we move on through various pastures the grass will hopefully be lucious and green without too many weeds crossing our path!
