Kodelle Biography

Kodelle are a Dublin based five piece consisting of Nicky O’Reilly on vocals , Andy Davis on guitar , brothers Ron and Bill Murray on guitar and synths respectively and Declan Doyle on drums and percussion. Since their formation in late 2004 , they have been busy creating their own unique sound , which fuses together elements of classic rock , hard edged electronica and world ethnic music. They have received extensive airplay on RTE 2FM , Anna Livia FM , Tallaght FM and most notably from Mike Hogan on FM104 .They have been busy with many live performances on the Dublin gigging scene and also played at the Guitar Festival of Ireland . Currently in the studio recording their debut album , Kodelle have hopes of a single release in the near future.

Irish Music Promotion
Irish Bands List.com was set up to promote Irish Music to the world. Unsigned Irish Music gains very little exposure both in Ireland and worldwide due to the lack of media channels here and little interest from abroad. This is why young Irish musicians find it a constant struggle to get anywhere in the music business. The internet, as a growing, developing network of information is the best way to get Irish artists and Irish Music out to the world.

Irish Bands List.com has been trying to expose Irish Music to the world since early 2004. We have found it hard to expose Irish Music as there is little interest in Irish Music on a world wide scale, but there is interest. We have to compete in the larger scale of world music and this has been difficult, yet our visitor traffic has been doubling every year. We hope that, through this site, Irish Music will soon get the exposure it deserves.
